We may be small, but we are fearless.
Our team came together organically, no formal hire process or adverts required; which holds us together so neatly, knowing that we all choose to hustle, create and work together, this is a choice, and one we all stand by.
Our little team is one of joy, hefty cackles and endless learning. We thrive on sharing, creating and envisioning epic celebrations, that are relayed at all hours behind the scenes, laced with cracker ideas and endless problem solving.
This little team is a group of women who will hustle, dream and deliver creation upon creation with utter delight, working like each event is one of our own, and laughing as though we depend on it.

If you could write an article to be featured in The New York times, what would it be about?
Small business' client expectations vs conglomerate companies, we suffer greatly with one mistake/hiccup, yet the larger companies are not held to the same standards.
Describe your dream venue?
White walls, black arch windows, black exposed beams with brushed gold fittings and fixtures. Enough detail to not need much, but minimalist so you can go wild with flowers!
What is your favourite part of a wedding?
From our perspective, bouquet delivery. It is nerve rackinginly exciting and terrifying. But from a guest/on site vendor perspective, watching the look on the couples faces as one walks down the aisle to meet the other, there is nothing like it.
If you could style any celebrities wedding, who would it be and why?
Michael Jacksons... like can you imagine!!

How would you describe SBAK in one word
Captivating
What is your favourite flower and why?
Gum flowers are my favourite, they remind me of my childhood fairy stories, working in nature and grounds me to our beautiful home.
How would you describe your dream wedding?
Timeless, memorable, full of dancing, smiles, and love.
Where/how did you meet Ash?
She was the weirdo doing star jumps in the rest breaks at F45, until one day I replied to her insta story where she said "if you ever want to not be an "ex" florist let me know" and the rest is history!
What is your spirit animal?
This is hard because I love every animal, but maybe a dingo. They are so loving and loyal yet, love to chill alone and watch the birds fly by.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A stay at home dog mum... I'm half way there :P

What is your favourite flower and why?
Smokebush, there's nothing else quiet like it. It's like a misty pink cloud.
How would you describe your dream wedding?
An intimate wedding on top of the mountains with an insane view, with a spectacular candle party, food, Rufus Du Sol playing and the whisky, wine and gin is flowing!
Where/how did you meet Ash?
I enquired for my own wedding, turned into Ash talking about needing a hand, I put my hand forward and never looked back on my marketing career.
What is your spirit animal?
A wolf because I love being part of a pack!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
One day maybe, when interests rates are low again, I might own a property and grow my own flowers.
One piece of advice to someone who is beginning to plan their wedding.
Stay true to who you are & what you want! This day is only about the two of you, no one else.

How would you describe SBAK in one word?
EXTREME FLORISTRY (this is due to Ash and I dangling off a ladder in high winds on the side of a mountain to create an arbour.)This is not an exaggeration, it happened haha.
What is your favourite flower and why?
I have a top 5 though! Hydrangea, Roses (all of them), Dogwood, Ranunculus and Japanese windflowers. And all of the leaves.
How would you describe your dream wedding?
Leaves and candles EVERYWHERE, winter, fire place and a lot of food, cake dessert bar and more leaves.
Where/how did you meet Ash?
Our lovely Ash used to frequently drop into my old workplace to buy flowers, we bonded then I told her she needed me on the team haha! The rest is history
What is your spirit animal?
If my friends could choose it would be one of those penguins from Madagascar or king Julian.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Probably an astronaut.
One piece of advice to someone who is beginning to plan their wedding.
Slow down and enjoy it! It’s so important to remember to take a deep breath, be in the moment and have fun x

What is your favourite flower and why?
My favourite flower is an Icelandic Poppy! I love how pretty and dainty they look, and are really nice to grow!
How would you describe your dream wedding?
My dream wedding was my actual wedding. An intimate 10 person ceremony with my family - surrounded by pretty flowers and good food!
Where/how did you meet Ash?
I’d say I technically met Ash at F45, where she meets all the best employees. But I did headhunt her to hire me..
What is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is a puppy! Easily excited and sleeps as much as possible.
What do you want to be when you grow up ?
When I was little, I wanted to own my own jewellery store!
One piece of advice to someone who is beginning to plan their wedding.
Be sure to agree on what’s important to you, and write it all down. It’s very easy to lose sight of what’s important and your original plans for the day.

Kiah and I have worked together for a while now at our second job and she introduced me to ash and the team!

Mort from Madagascar aka king Julian’s side kick.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I would love to work with troubled youth one day.

Stress less and enjoy the day, trust your people and team we’ve got you!!
